WHAT IT IS

The work, in plain terms.

Body weight tells you one number. Body composition tells you what that number is made of: muscle, fat and water. The medical analysis gives you a clinical read on those compartments, so a change in the scale does not get mistaken for a change in your body.

Your coach reads the result with you and connects it to your training. If you are rebuilding, this is how you see whether the plan is protecting muscle while fat comes down.

WHO IT IS FOR

  • You are losing weight and want to know what you are actually losing.
  • You are rebuilding and want to see where the change is happening.
  • You like a clinical read rather than a single percentage.

QUESTIONS

The useful answers.

Is this the same as a DEXA scan?

No. This is a medical body composition analysis, not a DEXA scan. If you specifically need a DEXA scan, call and we will tell you whether we can help or point you elsewhere.

What does it measure?

Muscle, fat and water, in a clinical read that your coach can use. Call if you want to talk through the detail before booking.

How often should I repeat it?

That depends on your goal and your plan. Your coach will suggest a re-test point that matches the change you are trying to make.
